Food

7 Apr

For day 6 of napiwrimo

Food.
More food.
I can’t get enough.
The more I eat, the more I stuff
my face with meat and bread and fat
If it sat still, I’d eat the cat
I love to feel so very full
Room for just one more morcel?
And still I shovel, cram and feed
revelling in my porcine greed
My gut is swollen, nicely fed
I’m sweating gravy, face all red
My heart is racing and as I pause
The room spins and my eyesight blurs
I know when enough’s enough
I’ll soon be back here at my trough.
