For day 14 of napowrimo

Dark clouds hide the morning sun
Threatening to smother hope
Which runs toward the light

Mindlessly, head down, I run
Up the cloud-topped endless slope
Hope’s second to will

Fatigue clouds the hope, the fight
The run ends, all is still

Do you mean to say you have beaten hope, or exactly the opposite? Whatever , whatever..beautiful words running so smoothly.

Having googled ‘Sisyphus’, I understand the poem better…and like it just as much!

Are you at a standstill? Hey, would a can of Red Bull overcome your fatigue. Between hope and will, oh, and Red Bull, you can charge up the hill! Go, Fat Boy, go. (I’m not saying you’re fat; I had to use that because it made me think of that movie that stars Simon Pegg. It’s a fun movie, but Simon Pegg almost makes a movie worth watching.

He does indeed. If you haven’t already, watch ‘Spaced’ – a UK comedy show starring and written by Simon Pegg. Great comment by the way!
